| The Spirit of `Big Virg` Still Rides: In memory of their dad, Virgil Henson Sr., his family is asking that you join them at the American Legion in Paris, IL, in helping the charities that he was so involved in. They will be hosting a poker run, raffle, and there will be a band to provide live music. All proceeds will go to benefit Shop with a Cop, The Compassionate Food Pantry and Toys for Local Charities. Please come and keep his memory alive by helping the community as he did for many years. $10 per person, $15 per couple donation will include the poker run and band. If you choose not to participate in the poker run we ask that you provide a $5 donation, toy, or non-perishable food item to enjoy live music and good friends. | 2010 BTW black Hills Trike-in will be held in Spearfish, SD August 9-11th. Trike-in HQ will be at Chris`s Campground in Spearfish. Planned activities include a tour of the Lehman factory on Monday Aug. 9th, a tour of some of the more out of the way places in the Black Hills on Tues. the 10th show and shine at Outdoor Motorsports on Wed. the 11th and a dinner that evening in the campground There will not be a registration fee but members must pay for their own dinner on Wed. Phone only. They will begin taking reservations at 8:00 AM on January 4th on a first come first served basis. More information will be added as we get it. | Border Line Trikers will be haveing there first annual Trike In on Aug 27 and 28. It will be held at the Moore/Gosch Park. One Mile North of Lineville, Iowa on Hyway 65. There are somewhere around 20 sites with water and electric hook up. Lots of trees for shade. The cost for Camping is $10.00 a night. It is the same for tents and campers. There will be Biscuts and Gravy served on Sat Morning. Will be taking a ride to where we will be eating lunch an there will be an ice cream run with the bug run to the ice cream store. We now have all our Officers in Place. Our main purpose is to grow and to have fun with trikers across both sides of the line. Our Chapter is starting to grow as we now have 18 members from both side of the Line. | East Coast Trike-In, Labor Day weekend, September 3rd, 4th and 5th! The ECTi for 2010 will be in Mt. Airy, NC at the Veterans Memorial Park near the center of town! Mt. Airy was the original Mayberry for the Andy Griffith show and the town is proud of its Mayberry heritage! The park has several building and sheltered areas, clean bathrooms and showers and special facilities for the handicapped. Onsite camping is $20 per night with electricity, $30 per night for full hookup, and $10 a night for Primitive camping. Microtel 336-789-7660 - 79.99 and up+ tax. There is a LARGE Flea Market in Mt. Airy on the same weekend, so rooms are going fast and prices are on the high side. Get your reservations in early! The Soaring Eagle Christian Bikers of Mt. Airy are familiar with the area and will help us put on a GREAT poker run. Their run should be a run everyone would love to go on and really enjoy!. As usual, there will be a trike show, trike and people games, on-site food, vendors selling everything imaginable, various trike rides, a poker run, 50/50`s, raffles, and of course - lots of down to earth brother and sister trikers to help you enjoy the weekend! The ECTi is known for its clean family fun! Bring the wife and kids and let them enjoy the world of trikes too! There are LOTS of vendor space available, if you`d like to participate as a vendor at the ECTi, please contact Tim Nine. Trike builders are also invited to display their new trikes.
